Finance Plan Works was founded in south St. Louis County after we noticed a pattern. People came to us with a loan question, an insurance question or a retirement question, but almost nobody had a single plan that tied those decisions together. Each choice was made on its own, and the pieces often worked against each other.
So we built a firm around the plan itself. We begin by measuring where you stand today, then draft a written roadmap that covers borrowing, cash reserves, protection, taxes and investing. Every recommendation is connected to a goal you set, and every cost is written down.
Today we help individuals, young families, retirees and small business owners in Affton, Mehlville, Oakville, Kirkwood, South City and across the USA, with one planner coordinating every part of the plan.
To give every client a clear, written financial plan that connects borrowing, protection, taxes and investing, explained honestly and priced openly.
A St. Louis where every household has a plan it understands and trusts, and where good financial decisions become simple habits passed down to the next generation.
We explain rates, risks and fees in everyday language you can act on.
We recommend what fits your goals, even when the answer is to do less.
Plans are built on real numbers, careful research and realistic assumptions.
We are proud to be part of south St. Louis and to treat every client like a neighbor.

“We were buying our first home in Affton and felt buried in loan estimates. Finance Plan Works laid every offer side by side, explained each fee and helped us lock a rate we were comfortable with. Closing day felt calm instead of chaotic.”
“I had four credit cards and no real plan. They drafted a payoff schedule around one fixed-rate personal loan, and two years later I am debt free with an emergency fund that actually covers emergencies.”
“Retirement used to feel like a guess. My planner built an income plan with cash and bond buckets, and when the market dipped last spring I did not have to sell anything. That alone was worth every minute.”
“Running a small landscaping company means uneven income. They set up quarterly tax estimates and a seasonal credit line, and they check in before every deadline. I finally feel like I am steering instead of reacting.”
“When our daughter was born they reviewed our life and disability coverage, updated our will and opened a 529 plan with us. We left the meeting with a one-page plan and a lot more peace of mind.”
“I came in thinking I needed a new investment account. Instead they showed me I was overpaying on insurance and holding too much cash. Honest advice like that is rare, and it is why I keep coming back.”
